Salt and the cotton in the river

Nasruddin was taking a load of salt to the market. His donkey waded through the river
and the salt dissolved. When it reached the opposite bank the animal ran around in
circles, overjoyed that its load had been lightened. But Nasruddin was annoyed.
On the next market day he packed the panniers with cotton. The donkey nearly drowned
with the increased weight of the cotton soaked in the river water.
“There I” said Nasruddin gleefully. “That will teach you to think that each time you
go through water you stand to gain I”
Two persons walked into religion. One came alive, the other drowned.

Is it possible we can both walk into religion and i find Healing and you find something to complain about ?
Its human nature right , i mean we can both be looking at the same picture i see beauty, you see shapeless images.
Do we love to complain , do we look for something to complain about all the time
How good are we at accepting things as they are
Must we always have a reason , have an opinion or just anything to say
Who classified silence as ignorance or as stupidity , you don't always have to say something , i mean really you don't have to say anything at times
Just be there , absorb the moment and just enjoy it , don't look for reasons not to like the current place or situation you find yourselves in
Learn from it , take away something from it
Find pleasure , joy, pain etc just find something inside of you to take away from the experience, lets stop complaining so much
Lets be there in the moment
Lets live in the actual moment
Lets be part of the moment than just a spectator
Lets put value in the moment

Eat your own fruit

A disciple once complained:
“You tell us stories, but you never reveal their meaning to us.”
Said the Master:
“How would you like it if someone offered you fruit and masticated it before giving it
to you?”

I just had to finish it up with this story :

“What on earth are you doing?” said I to the monkey when I saw him Hit a fish from
the water* and place it on a tree.
“I am saving it from drowning’,” was the reply.

The Royal Pigeon

Nasruddin became prime minister to the king. Once while he wandered through the
palace, he saw a royal falcon.
Now Nasruddin had never seen this kind of a pigeon before. So he got out a pair of
scissors and trimmed the claws, the wings and the beak of the falcon.
“Now you look like a decent bird,” he said. “Your keeper had evidently been
neglecting you.
“You’re different so there’s something wrong with you!”

" Me only have one ambition , y'know. I only have one thing I really like to see happen. I like to see mankind live together-Black, White,Chinese, Everyone- That's all " Bob Marley
And he goes on to say , " I don't stand for the black man's side, I don' t stand for the white man's side. I stand for God's side"

Its ok to be different , we should not have to destroy each other for being different
I dont know which part of the planet your reading this from but lately we have seen alot of violence in the world , religious wars, gay rights in Uganda , Ukraine burning down to name but a few
We human beings are full of love and compassion
We are better than this
We deserve to treat each other with respect and adherence
Everyone deserves a good quality of life , not to be cursed and stoned because they are different

SEARCHING IN THE WRONG PLACE

A neighbour found Nasruddin on hands and knees.
“What are you searching for Mullah?” “My key.”
Both men got on their knees to search. After a while the neighbour says, “Where did
you lose it?”
“At home.”
“Good Lord! Then why are you searching here?”
“Because it’s brighter here.”
Search for God where you lost Him.

Are we searching for things that we have not lost ?
We spend alot of money and time looking for happiness , searching for it
We read books , travel to far away destinations , try our level best to get it
What if we have it all along , its not lost its inside of us
Its in all of us

I often think that one day i will find happiness , I mean I am working hard , making ends meet and sacrifices to one day have a happy ending.
I am looking forward to something , its suppose to happen as the years go on, there is suppose to be a place when all is well with my soul. A time is suppose to come when I have made it .
Am I waiting for something or a moment that is already here but I am unable to recognize it
Its in front of me isn't it , all I have to do it grab hold of it and make it my own.

THE LITTLE FISH

“Excuse me,” said an ocean fish, “You are older than I so can you tell me where to
find this thing they call the Ocean?”
“The Ocean,” said the older fish, “is the thing you are in now,”
“Oh, this? But this is water. What I’m seeking is the Ocean,” said the disappointed
fish as he swam away to search elsewhere.
He came to the Master in sannyasi robes. And he spoke sannyasi language: “For years
I have been seeking God. I have sought Him everywhere that He is said to be: on
mountain peaks, the vastness of the desert, and the silence of the cloister and the
dwellings of the poor.”
“Have you found him?” the Master asked. “No. I have not. Have you?”
What could the Master say? The evening sun was sending shafts of golden light into
the room. Hun-dreds of sparrows were twittering on a banyan tree. In the distance one
could hear the sound of highway traffic. A mosquito droned a warning that it was going
to strike... And yet this man could sit there and say he had not found Him.
After a white he left, disappointed, to search elsewhere.
Stop searching, little fish. There isn’t anything to look for. All you have to do is look.
