Its funny how when you fix one area another hole seems to creep up. So I got a new place in a completely different province and the weather at first was awesome, I mean compared to where I am from back home it gets pretty hot. I mean humid and hot simultaneously. I just bought a fan at my new place and as I was about to take a quick nap I just realized it is not as quiet as it was before. The fan has sorted my heat problem but now I have to get used to the noise the fan makes, given it is not that loud but still. So it got me thinking, you know how they say when you pray for rain you have to deal with the mud as well. So here I am thankful for my fan and the fact that I don’t have to deal with the mosquito's too anymore.
Ever heard people say the price is this much, but T & C’s apply? Same can be said about the things we pray for and seek out in life. To drive the point home let me tell you another rain and mud story. So I recently got full access to my parent’s cars and as excited as I was I realized I am being tricked somehow. You get the car keys and expect to just drive along with no care in the world until you realize hey wait a minute this car needs petrol, needs a wash etc. And that is when the headache starts, so I had to be included in the insurance which meant my allowance got a bit lighter lol :) :) :).
In conclusion I remember when a good friend of mine just bought a car. We were supposed to meet that day or something and when we spoke on the phone he told me he was “stuck in traffic” and I exclaimed to him yes you are “stuck in traffic” get it he is stuck in traffic? The rain was the car and the mud was the traffic. Let us learn to be grateful and understand the responsibilities that come with the things we desire.
